Finding Courage and Hope in Life's Waiting Seasons

Take courage, my heart, Stay steadfast, my soul. He's in the waiting, Hold on to your hope, As your triumph unfolds, He's never failing, He's never failing.

There's a mystery that surrounds life where you can't see what's coming. You can't go back, but you just have to trust. Your plans are all messy and not as planned, but you have to continue on and push through. God only gave me this one life, and he didn't give it to me to just let it happen around me, but to move through me.

The waiting—it's my own indecision, frustrations, and fear.

He's the kind of Father that tells you, "I see you. And I'm here." He doesn't just abandon me in my waiting. Though often I feel He does.

No.

He often is sitting there waiting for me to just enjoy the life I have. To bring happiness to every moment. And then He knows that I am ready to pursue what's next on my journey.

And then He moves. Not FOR me.

With me. I have to do the work. God isn't a helicopter parent who does everything for us. No. He moves in my heart and tells me it's time.

"It's time to take action."

"It's time to do the next step."

"It's time to change."

"It's time."

So my words to you: IT IS TIME. I don't know what is holding you back. Fear probably.

And you are in a season of waiting. Stop. This is it. This is the only life you get. Don't die not having lived it.
