Soft but Filthy: Book Club Gathering
This month’s gathering is theme-based, not assignment-based. Bring the book you’re currently reading or one that fits the Soft but Filthy mood. We’ll touch briefly on what we’re reading, but this night is more about atmosphere, conversation, and being together than deep literary discussion.

This is a come-as-you-are night. Read what you want. Stay as long as it feels good.
The Night’s Ritual: TBR Jars
We’ll also be making TBR jars together, a simple, tactile way to capture future reads without turning them into obligations. Add books you’re excited about, moods you want to read for, or titles you keep saving “for later.”
There’s no pressure to finish anything. This is about intention, not assignment.

Signature Cocktail: Vanilla Bourbon Sour
Mocktail: Vanilla Honey Lemon Fizz
Dinner will be a warm, comforting, home-cooked meal served family-style; soft, indulgent, and made to linger over.
Dessert will lean cozy and rich. Nothing sharp. Nothing fussy.
Discussion Style
We’ll keep book talk light and organic. If it comes up, everyone is welcome to share.
A Note on This Space
This gathering is about comfort, curiosity, and being in the same room with people who love books. Not performing, explaining, or keeping up. Smut is welcome. Skipping discussion is welcome. Leaving early is welcome.
